Chipton-Ross is seeking a Manufacturing Planner 4 for a contract opportunity in San Antonio, TX.
100% Onsite. Candidates must be local or willing to re-locate prior to start at own expense
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o 8+years of Manufacturing Planner experience.
o 8+ years of experience of CAD Software.
o Ability to interpret and read 2D and 3D drawing and specs.
o Analyze & Interpret Engr Data.
o Manufacturing Engineering processes.
o Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plans and leads department/organization processes for developing, implementing and maintaining various manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration. Develops and plans manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business objectives. Prepares build analyses and cost estimate reports. Leads integration of complex suppliers, processes, materials, data and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements. Participates in source selection to ensure manufacturing requirements are met. Develops complex tooling requirements based on manufacturing and engineering requirements. Manages tooling from initial design to end of use disposition. Leads investigation and resolution of complex or systemic manufacturing related issues. Leads teams performing producibility assessments of design concepts. Supports enterprise level benchmarking to incorporate best practices. Leads development of complex work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments. Develops scheduling templates for use by others. Drafts, updates and reviews processes and procedures to support business and regulatory agency requirements. Develops and documents new job practices, techniques and standards. Works under minimal direction.
Work statement is a non-managerial role, non-leadership role.
Successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment - OJT or formal classroom training.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Previous Client Planner Experience.
o Gold ESP & MESCI experience.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The candidate must be able to ascend and descend vertical work ladders, stairs, & scaffolding and work in confined spaces.
Ability to lift loads of approximately 35 pounds.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited AA degree in related discipline and typically 6 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
WORK HOURS: MUST BE OPEN TO WORKING 1st or 2nd SHIFT.
