Our client is searching for Adapted Physical Education Teachers for opportunities in the Katy, TX area & surrounding districts for the remainder of the school year.

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
Provide instruction and assistance to student with disabilities who cannot fully participate in general physical education activities. Also provide consultation to general physical education and special education staff on methods to modify activities to meet the needs of students who qualify for adapted physical education. Maintain emotional control under stress. Frequent standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, pushing, and pulling and use of prescribed holding techniques, when necessary. Move small stacks of textbooks, media equipment, desks, and other classroom or adaptive equipment. May be required to lift and position students with physical disabilities; and assist non-ambulatory students. Daily driving in the district from one campus to another.

CLIENT'S REQUIREMENTS
*Bachelor’s degree in Special Education and/or Physical Education
*Valid Texas certificate in appropriate area
*Skills and knowledge in providing physical education to students with disabilities
*Valid driver’s license
