- We prefer candidates with an Associate's or Bachelor's degree, focusing on healthcare, business, or information systems. Ideal applicants will be able to present complex data in meaningful methods, such as charts and graphs. You should have the ability to adjust to and implement change, exhibit strong problem-solving skills, and demonstrate multitasking abilities. Being a team player is crucial, along with proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Excellent customer service skills, effective written and verbal communication, and strong interpersonal skills to foster teamwork are essential. Additionally, strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities are required.
- In terms of experience, we seek individuals with 3+ years of experience, including 2+ years in healthcare, business, or information systems. You should be capable of solving moderate incidents without direction and developing new functionality for requests with minimal guidance. Working effectively in a team setting while sharing information and assisting junior team members is vital. A detailed understanding of healthcare knowledge and systems expertise is expected, alongside the ability to make decisions on routine cases and work under minimal supervision using independent judgment.
- Licenses, registrations, or certifications will be an advantage, with preferred associated certifications in your area of focus. For Epic Analysts, being certified or proficient in the assigned Epic module (to be obtained within 6 months of employment) is required, along with maintaining current certifications or proficiencies through new version training.
Responsibilities: - As our Application System Analyst II, you will analyze, develop, test, document, educate, implement, support, and optimize assigned applications and business processes to meet operational and technical requirements. You will collaborate across project borders with other teams, think creatively, and propose practical solutions to issues. Providing oversight and project management on assigned tasks will be a key part of your role.
- You will demonstrate a solid understanding of the subject matter, actively support projects, and work to improve your expertise in assigned areas. Your responsibilities include proactively identifying opportunities to enhance customer usability and efficiency, representing user needs in system updates and enhancements, and reporting organized status updates to stakeholders.
- You will perform working-level process and requirement analysis, including process mapping and stakeholder analysis, to deliver cross-team solutions. Clear articulation of complex design and configuration issues to end users and project stakeholders is vital, along with maintaining relationships with end user leadership. You will contribute to strategic discussions, facilitate timely decisions, and adhere to organizational standards for system configuration and change control.
- Collaboration with operational leaders to standardize best practice workflows and ensure optimal operational processes will be essential. You will coordinate code changes with vendors related to financial and business application issues and work closely with the technical team to address infrastructure-related issues. Sharing industry best practices with operational leaders and demonstrating increasing technical knowledge of the assigned application is expected.
- You will follow strict change management processes, ensuring proper approval, testing, and validation of system changes, while maintaining high documentation standards. Regular self-evaluation of skills and proactive troubleshooting of incidents will be part of your responsibilities.
- You may manage medium complexity projects, complete assigned educational courses in a timely manner, and ensure that your services contribute to the department's primary mission. You will escalate issues when SLAs are breached and may need to travel or work additional hours during critical problems. Assisting in training sessions for users and coworkers will also be part of your role.
