Title: Billing Revenue Manager

Location: Tysons, VA

Pay: $60-$70 per hour

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the billing and revenue processes for government contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with FAR, DFARS, and other federal regulations .
• Prepare and submit invoices in accordance with contract terms, including Cost-Plus, Time & Materials, and Fixed-Price contracts .
• Monitor accounts receivable and ensure timely collection of payments from government agencies and subcontractors.
• Reconcile billing discrepancies and resolve invoice disputes with clients and internal departments.
• Maintain accurate revenue recognition practices in accordance with GAAP and ASC 606 standards.
• Collaborate with contract management and finance teams to ensure compliance with contract modifications and funding adjustments.
• Prepare reports for senior management on billing status, revenue forecasts, and cash flow analysis.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reconciliations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in billing and revenue management.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in billing and revenue management, preferably within government contracting .
• Strong knowledge of government contract types, invoicing requirements, and compliance regulations .
• Experience with Deltek Costpoint, Unanet, or similar government accounting software .
• Familiarity with DCAA compliance and federal reporting requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion and professionalism.
