Hampton Inn Muskegon by Hilton is seeking a Friendly and Professional Breakfast Attendant to join our 20-person strong team. We are located on 1401 E. Ellis Rd. Our ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. The position is crucial in creating memorable experiences for travelers and requires strong communication skills, attention to detail and a passion for being hospitable all while preparing and serving breakfast.

Responsibilities:

• Prep and cook breakfast items.
• Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm demeanor.
• Manage the kitchen and breakfast area, as well as food, quality, temperature
• Adhere to Health and Sanitization while handling food
• Must showcase proper cooking habits and techniques as well hygiene
• Must adhere to Health Department codes as well as Serv Safe
• Clean kitchen and dining room
• Store away food items
• Take Inventory weekly to see that's needed for ordering
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guests experiences.
• Must be able to work bright and early and be on time
• "PUNCTUAL" is mandatory for this position.

Qualifications

• Friendly attitude even when dealing with disgruntled guests.
• Responsible and proven ability to maintain scheduling commitments, as well as be ON TIME.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a kitchen and large crowds while cooking/serving.
• Ability to problem solve quickly concerns customers may have
• Good communication skills with customers
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs if needed
• Must be able to work early mornings starting at 5AM-11AM and 6AM-12noon
• Breakfast is served 7 days a week.
