**Job Summary**
We are excited to invite a dynamic Catering Event Sales Manager to join our team! If you are a results-driven, customer-focused individual with a strong sales background, we want to hear from you. In this role, you will guide customers through their event experiences, identifying solutions that align with their goals and objectives, ultimately creating memorable events.

**Please note:** This is an on-site position based at 3 Times Square in New York City.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct site visits, pre-conference planning meetings, and venue meetings.
- Understand event cost structures and incorporate them into solution designs while adhering to profitability guidelines.
- Lead sales marketing and lead generation activities to achieve revenue goals.
- Develop campaigns to qualify leads and create engaging lead generation emails and templates for sales meetings.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create marketing materials that align with our key messaging and branding.
- Oversee sponsorship sales marketing activities, including collateral and web pages.
- Create and propose menus, schedule tastings, and coordinate with the culinary team for menu selection.
- Conduct vendor production walk-throughs, conference calls, and meetings related to event planning.
- Produce clear Banquet Event Orders, design floor plans, and manage equipment inventory for events.
- Communicate all relevant event information to each department to ensure a seamless planning process.
- Hire, train, and develop managers, actively participating in the development of service techniques, menu presentation, policies, and procedures.
- Create reports on operating statements and operational budgets, and oversee the collection of receivables.
- Prepare and monitor budgets, financial targets, and forecasts.
- Maintain a local client database and build relationships with new vendors.
- Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation procedures in accordance with HACCP.
- Perform related duties and special projects as assigned.

**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Minimum of 3 years in Event Sales and/or Conference Catering Sales.
- Bachelor's degree (preferably in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or Hospitality).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey experiences.
- Proven track record of meeting sales goals.
- Strong knowledge of current food industry trends and fine dining service standards.
- Ability to work independently, make proactive decisions, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; familiarity with Delphi and Meeting Matrix is a plus.
- Ability to write menu proposals in consultation with chefs.
- Knowledge of event set-up styles, audio-visual equipment, and property layouts.
- Strong customer interaction skills with patience, tact, and diplomacy.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
