Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Civil Environmental Engineer to join our team in Ocean Pines, MD. This is a hybrid position offering the opportunity to work on a variety of environmental infrastructure projects that support sustainable development and protect natural resources.
Responsibilities

• Manage and perform engineering design tasks, calculations, evaluations, and alternative analyses.
• Prepare technical reports, engineering plans, and detailed specifications.
• Provide engineering guidance during construction phases of projects.
• Ensure compliance with stormwater management and NPDES MS4 permits.
• Oversee erosion and sediment control measures.
• Support site development and broader civil engineering efforts.
• Contribute to projects focused on natural resources, coastal resiliency, and solid waste management.

Required Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or closely related field).
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred, or an Engineer-in-Training actively pursuing licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in environmental infrastructure design with a focus on site/civil or stormwater management.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD, or MicroStation is required.

Note: This position requires specific driving duties. You must be able to pass a motor vehicle records check required by our insurer.
Drug Screen Statement

Pay Range

$75,000-$120,000 USD

The EA pay range for this position is intended as a general guideline and does not guarantee specific compensation or salary. Factors considered when making an offer include job responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, alignment with market data, and compliance with federal and state laws.
