Position : Client Accounting Services CFO Reviewer

ImpactV, LLC, is a back-office shared services company specializing in providing comprehensive support to nonprofit organizations. Our services encompass financial management, administrative support, and strategic consulting. We work closely with our nonprofit clients to streamline their operations and maximize their impact in the community.

Position Summary

This position is on the ImpactV Shared Services team and is responsible for managing client accounts, service teams, and deliverables, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, while also providing client communication and consulting, and managing staff responsible for those accounts.

Responsibilities

Client Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients
• Manage client relationships, build and maintain strong connections
• Understand client needs and proactively address them
• Manage client billings, engagements, and contracts
• Conduct regular client meetings and provide updates

Accounting and Financial Reporting

• Review and prepare financial statements and reports for clients
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Perform technical review of bookkeeping and month-end close procedures
• Research and resolve accounting and tax issues
• Prepare and review work papers and financial statements

Team Leadership and Development

• Manage and delegate work effectively
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks

Process Improvement and Efficiency

• Stay up-to-date with accounting software and technology
• Manage and maintain accounting systems and processes
• Special Projects as assigned

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Education: Ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, Masters with CPA experience preferred.
• Experience: Proven experience in accounting management, preferably in a client service environment and shared services
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and relevant accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Online, Net Suite).
• Client Service Skills: Excellent interpersonal and client communication skills. Shared services skill preferred
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills.

Work Schedule : 10 - 15 hours per month – Remote; May increase as needed

Employment Status : Contract

Pay Range : $40 to $60 / hour, commensurate with experience
