Solution IT Inc. is looking for Security Engineer for one of its clients in Rockville, MD/Washington, DC/Chicago/Dallas [Hybrid]

Job Title: Security Engineer

Summary:

The main function of a Security Engineer is to plan, coordinate, and implement security measures for information systems to regulate access to computer data files and prevent unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure of information. This role will require in-depth knowledge of cyber security and security tool management.

Required Skills:

• 6+ years of experience required working in information technology.
• Security+ cert at a minimum or higher.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as cyber security, computer science, or related field preferred.
• Consistent implementation of security solutions, experience in infrastructure or application-level vulnerability testing and auditing.
• Background in email gateway management, SMTP, Microsoft Exchange Online or equivalent.
• Strong proficiency and detailed technical knowledge in security engineering, system and network security, authentication, and security protocols.

Work Site: Rockville, MD/Washington, DC/Chicago/Dallas [Hybrid]

Duration: 6+ Months
