Requirements:
- I require a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a closely related technical field, along with at least 8 years of related technical experience. You must have extensive experience administering enterprise-level data storage systems (preferably Dell Storage Center, Dell Compellent, and Data Domain) and a solid understanding of SAN and NAS administration, VMware ESX integration, data migration strategies, and cloud storage management. Experience with Veritas Rubrik and scripting technologies such as PowerShell is essential. You should also possess working knowledge of Unix or Linux-based operating systems, Distributed File System (DFS), and demonstrate excellent communication skills. The ability to mentor junior team members and complete complex projects with minimal direction is vital. You need to hold, at a minimum, a DoD 8570.11- IAT Level II certification and have an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph or be willing to obtain one.
Responsibilities:
- I expect you to install, configure, and administer enterprise storage systems, including Dell EMC and Quantum technologies, as well as Rubrik server and client software. You will administer Cisco Brocade fibre channel switch fabrics and work closely with server administrators to create secure SMB file shares and NFS exports. Your role will encompass developing Disaster Recovery and Continuity of Operations plans in accordance with customer requirements, maintaining Linux and Windows servers for storage operations, and building capacity management dashboards. Additionally, you will troubleshoot issues, monitor system performance, automate operations, and work with Cloud Storage solutions as needed. Collaborating with junior team members and mentoring them is also a key aspect of your position.
