The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
Position Summary
Reporting to the Director of Clinical Operations, the Dental Receptionist is responsible for greeting and registering patients, scheduling appointments and processing payment for clinical services.
Responsibilities
Greet and register patients, schedule appointments and process payment for clinical services.
Responsible for billing and collection activities, issuing receipts, responding to patient inquiries, posting payments and reconciling financial data on the computer.
Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalency certificate
A minimum of one year of related experience
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of clinic computerized scheduling/chart/billing system.
Employee must be extremely personable and possess excellent communication skills.
Excellent customer service and organizational skills
Employee must also exhibit strong follow through, establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and students and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Contact with patients and billing.
Bilingual skills (English/ Spanish)
