Job Summary:

About the Role & Program

The Disney Experiences Communications Events team plans, develops, and produces events, of varying size and complexity, in support of multiple businesses within the segment.

This internship will involve working on projects supporting various Disney Experiences businesses, including, but not limited to, Disney Consumer Products, Walt Disney World® Resort, and Disney Signature Experiences. The role requires strategic thinking, project management skills, and the ability to prioritize. Through close collaboration with internal and external partners, you will provide support on events that drive outstanding results in alignment with business goals, objectives, and strategies.

This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in the Orlando, Florida area from June 2025 to January 2026.

What You Will Do

In this role, the individual will be involved in a wide variety of event-planning activities including but not limited to the following:

  • Be a collective participant in the conceptualization of business-driving events
  • Collaborate with both internal and external partners to help develop and implement events of various sizes and complexity
  • Provide on-the-ground support throughout the event development process all the way through event execution
  • Make valuable contributions to the success of the team by assisting in developing, updating, and prioritizing key project/event planning documents such as agendas, itineraries, tracking grids, presentations, and more

Education

  • Junior or Senior year preferred
  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in events, project management, communications, public relations, marketing, or a related major

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at the time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
  • Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization

Additional Information

  • This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in the Orlando, FL area from June 2025 until January 2026.
  • Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship.
  • Fully available Monday through Friday for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week.
  • Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the Orlando, FL area.
  • Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work.
  • Be compliant with The Disney Look appearance guidelines.
