AECOM is hosting an exclusive, invitation-only hiring event in Boston on November 19-20, 2025 . This is a great opportunity to learn and connect with AECOM for career opportunities starting Spring/Summer 2026.

The event kicks off on Wednesday evening with a networking mixer , where you can hear from AECOM staff about various projects, career paths, and the company itself. You’ll also have the chance to meet other students, recent graduates, and AECOM professionals from across our business lines.

On Thursday, interviews will take place at our Boston office . This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about and connect with AECOM for early career opportunities.

AECOM  is actively seeking a bright and highly motivated  Entry Level Civil Engineer for employment in our Transportation Business Line based out of our  Chelmsford.  office.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform assigned tasks on projects as directed by task manager.
  • Assist in transportation highway pavement and asset data analysis
  • Perform basic pavement engineering report writing.
  • Utilize pavement design software, including AutoCAD, and/or ArcGIS.
  • Perform Pavement Condition Index surveys in accordance with ASTM standards.
  • Develop basic plans, specifications and cost estimates for pavement design projects, under guidance of a registered engineer.•

Qualifications



Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • Valid U.S. Driver’s License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices. As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review. 
  • Due to the nature of work, U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications

:

  • Transportation-related construction experience and/or prior internships (preferably in the field of pavement design or geotechnical engineering).
  • Requires some knowledge, or ability to obtain familiarity with AutoCAD.

  • Relocation is not available for this position.
