Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Associate to join our dynamic team. This position is ideal for individuals looking to start their career in the dental field. The Entry Level Associate will assist in various tasks that support the daily operations of our practice, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow while providing excellent patient care.

* Graduation from an accredited dental assisting program is required*

Duties

• Assist dental professionals in providing patient care, including preparing treatment rooms and sterilizing instruments.
• Utilize Open Dental software for scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
• Maintain infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
• Communicate effectively with patients regarding dental terminology and procedures, ensuring they understand their treatment plans.
• Support endodontic procedures by preparing necessary materials and assisting during treatments.
• Perform X-ray imaging as needed, following safety guidelines and protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure high standards of four-handed dentistry are maintained during procedures.
• Assist with dental charting for insurance purposes, ensuring accurate documentation of services rendered.

Experience
While prior experience in a dental office is recommended, it is not required. We welcome candidates who possess the following skills:

• Familiarity with dental terminology and infection control practices.
• Basic knowledge of dental terminology is a plus.
• Experience with X-Ray technology a plus.
• Certificate of graduation from an accredited dental assisting program required
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
