The Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Deputy Bureau Chief/Bureau of Land (BOL), Permit Section, Groundwater Unit B is seeking Geologist 1 candidates to learn and develop the skills and knowledge required to perform variety of closely supervised geologic and hydrogeologic analysis pertaining to permit review of Groundwater Systems for the Bureau in accordance with regulations pertaining to Groundwater including but not limited to, 35 IAC, Subtitle F, Part 620 and 35 IAC, Subtitle G rules. The ideal candidates for these positions will be organized, detailed, and possess the ability to adapt to change in a collaborative, fast paced environment. The ideal candidates will also need to be able to communicate effectively verbally, electronically and in writing with both internal and external stakeholders.
