TOSCA Data Integration ETL TESTER

Location: Overland Park/KS , Frisco/TX, Atlanta/GA

Duration: 12+ Months Contract

Educational: Graduate or master's in engineering (any discipline)/ master's in computer application/ master's in computer science

Required Experience
5 to 8 years of experience in the IT industry as a Software test engineer.

Must have experience on ETL/DWH/Database Testing, (Azure Synapse Analytics - Added advantage).
Must have experience on TOSCA DI (Test case design, Vital Checks, RowCount, RowbyRow)
Must have experience on Data Validation techniques by using TOSCA DI.
Develop SQL Scripts to validate Completeness, Integrity, and Accuracy of Data within an ETL process testing cycle.
Good understanding of DWH concepts, Dimensional Modeling, Star Schema and Snowflake Schema.
Experience in QA process using agile methodologies.
Extensively involved in requirement analysis and identifying the scope of testing.
Strong knowledge in writing and executing SQL queries and in Python scripts (Additional advantage).
Ability to work independently or in a team environment or in a rapid pace environment.
Must be a responsive, flexible team player.

SQL, ETL/DWH testing, Manual testing, DB testing, Agile Methodology, JIRA, Python, Azure synopses, SQL Server Management Studio,MS Office.

Job Responsibilities:

Should be able to manage QA tasks independently.
Must have ETL data validation techniques for basic and complex SQL queries.
Develop ETL test scripts by using TOSCA DI technical specifications/Mapping documents.
Testing of historical and incremental data loading.
Testing Source and Target data with business rules/requirements as per Mapping documents.
Need to interface with clients daily to understand the business side of requirements and business rules.

Candidate Attributes:

Expertise in review and analyze data flow design and data model.
Strong Knowledge in SQL Scripting/ETL and QA process.
Good to have knowledge in agile methodologies and best practices.
Good communication skills both verbal and written.
