State College, PA . We specialize in serving clients in the financial services sector, delivering innovative software solutions that drive business transformation. We are looking for a skilled Full-Stack Developer to join our team in building cutting-edge web and mobile applications.
About The Role As a Full-Stack Developer at
NuWorks, LLC , you will be responsible for aspects of the design and development of high-quality web and mobile applications from conception through deployment, and maintenance thereafter. You will work closely with our cross-functional team of engineers, developers, and project managers to deliver innovative solutions and practical applications for complex needs. At times you will mentor junior team members to help them grow in their roles.
This position is in-office. Candidates must live in the State College, PA area or be willing to relocate. Required Skills & Key Responsibilities - Proven experience with AWS Amplify.
- Strong understanding of DynamoDB, including scaling for high-volume production environments.
- Experience in building multi-tenant applications.
- Familiarity with automated build processes and tools (CI/CD).
- Adhere to best practices and coding standards by creating and maintaining clear comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and system manuals.
- Collaborate with software team and stakeholders to refine requirements of the project scope. Actively contribute to brainstorming sessions.
- Ensure new features and system enhancement solutions are scalable, maintainable, and performant.
- Develop and execute unit, integration, and performance tests. Debug and resolve issues identified during testing.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Work both independently and within a team.
Preferred Skills - AWS Certifications and/or Flutter experience is highly beneficial.
- Experience with additional AWS services such as QuickSight, Glue, and Data Lake.
- Knowledge of front-end frameworks and libraries.
- Understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
- Familiarity with other cloud platforms and services.
Education & Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS web services, particularly serverless architectures.
