Position Full-Time Nanny
Location: Upper East Side, New York City
Schedule: 40 hours per week (Will guarantee a set number of hours)
Flexibility required for occasional Saturday date nights or afternoon
Additional hours beyond 40/week will be compensated at time-and-a-half
Compensation & Benefits:
$35–$40/hour (commensurate with experience)
Two weeks paid time off
One week paid sick leave

Full pay guaranteed during required travel and summer live-in schedule
Family Overview:
A warm and welcoming family is seeking a dependable and energetic nanny to care for two children (ages 8 and 5) in their Upper East Side home. Both children are in school full-time. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, positivity, and structure to the household, while supporting the children’s growth, learning, and emotional well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide attentive, nurturing care with safety as the highest priority
Plan and engage children in fun, age-appropriate activities (playground, crafts, sports, games)
Support with homework, reading, and structured routines
Prepare and serve healthy meals for the children; assist with dinner time routines
Manage children’s laundry and organization of their belongings
Run errands related to the children (supplies, school items, etc.)
Coordinate after-school schedules, pickups, and activities
Travel with family up to three times per school year for 10–14 days each (must hold a valid passport)
Swim and drive safely during summers in the Hamptons
Live-in availability in the Hamptons Friday–Monday during July and August (8 weeks) with guaranteed 40 hours pay
Communicate openly and effectively with parents and support a team-oriented household environment
Qualifications:
Prior experience as a nanny with school-aged children
Energetic, upbeat, and engaging personality
Creative and artistic—able to develop fun activities and crafts
Comfortable with sports and outdoor play (basketball, trampoline, tennis, swimming)
Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain household order for the children
Valid driver’s license and strong swimming ability
Current passport and ability to travel
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with parents and household staff
Ability to balance structure and flexibility in daily routines
