We are looking for an IBCS Software Engagement Product Owner to join our team to support the IFMC AMD Mission Command Product Office, a government program office addressing Army Air and Missile Defense systems, with a focus on Mission Command systems.

The Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Engagement (ENG) Product Owner (PO) will work as a member of the Army Program Executive Office Missiles and Space (PEO MS) Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office.

Your day-to-day work will include:

• Reviewing/understanding systems engineering concepts/designs/algorithms.
• Working with Program Management to set priorities for new capabilities and defects.
• Working directly with the Agile software developers to meet deadlines and program objectives.
• Providing guidance to the engineering team for each Program Increment (PI) and Sprint.
• Supporting the team in the development of acceptance criteria for Engineer tasks and stories, as well as being responsible for the verification of work performed by the Engineer team.
• Technical briefings, demonstrations, and advisement to leadership.
• Reporting on status; recommended courses of action, competing capabilities, performance, risks, and impacts to the IFMC mission.
• Other duties as assigned.

At a minimum you should have:

• US Citizenship and residency in the Huntsville, AL area or be willing to relocate to the Huntsville, AL area.
• An active SECRET security clearance and the ability to maintain.
• A Bachelor’s degree (or advanced degree) from an accredited college (ABET preferred) in engineering, the sciences, or mathematics
• A good understanding of concepts such as threat evaluation, engagement plan generation, execution/monitoring of engagements, and performing kill assessment utilizing adapted ASoS components (Sensor, Launcher, Uplinker, IFF device).
• Fluency in the Microsoft Office toolset.
• Minimum of 7 years combined Government/DoD experience in performing the essential duties listed above.

You will be highly desirable if you have:

• Knowledge of IBCS, PATRIOT, MEADS, THAAD, C2BMC, or AEGIS.
• The ability to “move out” and champion your ideas, architectures, designs, enthusiasm; independent critical thinking; and a team attitude.
• Experience in JIRA/Confluence.
• Security+ and Linux experience.
• An Agilist Certification.

Estimated Salary Range:

• Intermediate: $120,000-$135,000
• Senior: $140,000-$170,000

The provided salary range serves as a broad reference. However, Intrepid takes various factors into account when establishing base salary offers, including the position's scope and responsibilities, as well as the candidate's experience, education, skills, and prevailing market conditions.
