Position Summary
This program is an 11-week full-time opportunity that provides real work experience with a team in your business area. You will be aligned to projects to lead or contribute to while also participating in networking, development, and career exploration activities. Our Corporate Interns can apply for future full-time roles during the program and have an increased likelihood to receive an offer for a post-graduation role.
The summer internship program is from May 28 – August 8, 2025.
CVS Health follows a 3 day in office (generally Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) hybrid work model providing office-based colleagues the ability to flex between working in the office and working from home based on the work you need to accomplish. The other 2 days each week will be working remotely from home, office, or another location of your choice.
Our office location for this role will be Hartford, CT. A housing stipend may be provided, based on eligibility, and interns will be given the opportunity to connect with each other prior to the start of the program to coordinate housing if desired. The hourly rate is $23.00, with 40 hours per week, July 4th off (company holiday), and two days of paid leave. Please disregard the range listed below.

Our organization under Aetna shared services advanced tech delivery is supporting the entire Aetna health care business. We have developed “Aetna Insights”, an Observability & Monitoring platform leveraging open-source technologies, open telemetry, machine learning & analytics. We collect and stream application and server telemetry data at real-time from on-premises and cloud environments thereby providing deep insights into application and server health and is a go to platform for incident troubleshooting and day to day system monitoring. We closely partner with application development, infrastructure, and security teams, and we are focused on creating innovation opportunities that drive change across the health care enterprise.

What you will do
Our team builds “Aetna Insights” by leveraging cloud agnostic and open-source technologies. We automate collection of telemetry data (logs, trace & metrics) using Open telemetry and Open Shift technologies and makes data insights faster, deeper, and more accessible. You will focus on developing machine learning, Analytics and Generative AI solutions.
This is a hands-on technology role where you and your team will be responsible for developing and driving critical initiatives for CVS Health. You will deliver on technology initiatives in a fast-paced organization while building trusted relationships with peer groups and business partners. Your opportunity will be to own a concept, develop a plan and deliver high quality software solutions. You will be able to demonstrate your leadership and independence as you work to enhance customer experience.
Work visa sponsorship is not available for this role. This includes participation in Curricular Practical Training (CPT), Optional Practical Training (OPT), and F-1 Visa programs.
