Position Overview

As a Lead Laboratory Technologist (Toxicology), you will play a key role in ensuring safety, accuracy, and efficiency in our toxicology department. This position requires certifying experience in Drugs of Abuse or Pain Management and hands-on LCMS experience to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and high-quality patient results.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain LCMS and triple quadrupole mass spectrometry instruments .
• Conduct toxicology testing with a focus on Drugs of Abuse analysis .
• Certify patient results to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Provide technical leadership and training to laboratory staff.
• Perform quality control procedures and take corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues .
• Ensure compliance with laboratory safety protocols and regulatory requirements .
• Interpret and analyze data , generating accurate patient result reports.
• Assist in the development and implementation of laboratory procedures and policies .
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree or higher in chemistry, biology, clinical laboratory science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical toxicology (Drugs of Abuse or Pain Management) required.
• Certifying Scientist experience required.
• LCMS-specific experience required.
• Experience with drug abuse testing required.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and analytical skills .
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, train others, and oversee lab processes efficiently .
