WORK LOCATION: On-site in Vienna, VA or Washington, DC with the potential for remote work assignments. Work locations vary depending on clearance level and contract requirements.

REQUIRED CLEARANCE: Uncleared, or Secret clearance is highly preferred

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Provide ad-hoc linguist support to include translation, consecutive/simultaneous interpretation, and foreign language training.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Support a broad variety of language-related tasks to include translation of documents, triage, gisting, quality control, one-on-one foreign language training instruction, and conference-level consecutive and simultaneous interpretation.
• Native or near-native speaker of target language and advanced English language skills
• Ability to pass a language test with a minimum ILR score of 3/3/3
• Demonstrated previous experience in Translation, Transcription and/or Interpretation
• Active clearance preferred
• Proven experience and ability to translate from foreign language into English and vice versa
• Experience with CAT Tools is a plus, but not required.
