Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Machine Shop Maintenance Technician to join our team in Branchburg, NJ. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility by maintaining and troubleshooting a variety of equipment, including CNC machines. If you have a knack for mechanical troubleshooting and a passion for keeping things running efficiently, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on CNC machines and other shop equipment.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.
  • Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records of repairs and inspections.
  • Assist in the installation and setup of new machinery and equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding maintenance needs and equipment status.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in equipment troubleshooting and facilities maintenance.
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills with a focus on CNC machine repair.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
