As a Maintenance Mechanic Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment and machinery. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our manufacturing facility in Nebraska City, Nebraska. You will report directly to our Maintenance Supervisor, and you'll work out of our Nebraska City location. In this role, you will impact on the reliability and productivity of our manufacturing operations by maintaining and repairing equipment, troubleshooting issues, and implementing preventive maintenance programs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment and machinery
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues
• Repair or replace defective parts
• Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations

YOU MUST HAVE

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills

WE VALUE

• Technical certification in industrial maintenance or related field
• Experience with PLCs and automated control systems
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
