Job Description

Our client, a leading U.S. manufacturer of wire and cable products , is seeking Maintenance Technicians (Level II) to support their plant operations in Pleasant Prairie, WI . This is a hands-on, floor-level role focused on keeping complex manufacturing equipment running safely and efficiently.

Candidates must be skilled in both electrical and mechanical maintenance and have experience working on actual manufacturing machines , not just conveyors or basic assembly lines.

Qualifications:

Required:

• High school diploma or GED 
• Minimum 5 years of industrial machinery maintenance experience
• Strong electrical/mechanical repair skills (e.g., extruders, draw machines, heavy-duty equipment)
• Ability to interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and OEM manuals
• Experience using voltmeters, ohmmeters , and other test devices
• Proficiency in CMMS systems and Microsoft Office
• Comfortable lifting 50 lbs, climbing, and working in confined spaces

Preferred:

• Associate degree in technical maintenance or certification from a trade school
• Hands-on knowledge of shop tools, precision measuring instruments, and component-level troubleshooting
• Completion of a recognized maintenance certification or trade test

Salary & Benefits:

• Hourly Pay Range: $58,000 – $66,000 annually
• Overtime Eligible: Yes (paid hourly)
