The University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music seeks an experienced instructor of Musical Theatre Dance for its celebrated BFA Musical Theatre program to begin in August 2025. This opportunity may be well suited for instructors seeking an Artist-in-Residence experience at a nationally ranked and internationally renowned institution.
The Musical Theater Instructor - Adjunct appointment will be salaried (up to $35,000), commensurate with credentials within college guidelines. Appointment is one (1) term, the Fall 2025 semester .
The department of Musical Theatre is comprised of approximately 70 students, with seven (7) full- time faculty and 10 adjunct faculty. Collaborating with the Department of Theatre, Design and Production, the Department of Ensembles and Conducting, and others, the Department of Musical Theatre annually presents at least four (4) musicals and various other offerings inclusive of new works, staged readings, lab shows, cabarets, and concerts.
Prior to the effective date of appointment, must have a Bachelor?s degree in Musical Theatre, Dance, or a related field, and a total of four (4) years of experience. Such experience must encompass four (4) years of professional experience as a dance teacher in musical theater or dance, which can, but need not, be contemporaneous to the professional experience.
