Job Description

Myer Hospitality is looking for a positive and professional Ticket Sales Agent/Front Desk Agent to deliver an exceptional experience to every guest at our Holiday Inn Express, Green Mnt Hotel. The schedule is Thursday-Monday 8 am to 5 pm. You’ll welcome sell tickets, make daily phone calls, make reservations, manage their information, check guest in and out, distribute their keys and room assignments, and answer any general inquiries to ensure they have an excellent stay with us. The ideal candidate has brilliant communication skills, a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn all about the Branson shows and attractions, and a commitment to guest satisfaction.   • Handle customer complaints as necessary
  • Greet, check-in, and check out guests when they arrive and leave the premises, distribute keys and room assignments, and record credit card information
  • Bookkeeping: keep accurate records of all hotel guest account information
  • Take incoming calls, online and in-person room bookings requests, and answer questions about guests’ needs involving room rates, available rooms, amenities, rewards programs, and special requests
  • Connect with the housekeeping department to ensure guest accommodations are ready
  • Weekly schedule Thursday-Monday 8 am to 5 pm. You will have an hour's lunch break daily.
Qualifications:
  • Exhibits working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems
  • High school graduate, GED recipient, or equivalent
  • At least one year of hospitality industry experience as a hotel front desk agent or similar position preferred
  • Possesses strong customer service skills, interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and time management skills
  • Well-versed in taking telephone calls and handling stressful situations
  • Have a heart for Branson shows and attractions.
  • Be excited to talk to guest regarding these places and to process their request.
