Job Description

Hiring: Product Owner (Capital Market/ Investment Banking) with Agile methodologies, must hold SAFe Agile certification Exp.

Locations: Whippany, NJ (Hybrid Onsite)

Duration: 12+ Months Contract

Note: Candidate needs to be in the office 3 Days every week. Local candidates only.

Must have: Product Owner with Strong Capital Market/ Investment Banking, Agile methodologies, SAFe Agile certification

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
  • Experience: 6+ years of product management experience in financial institutions and SAFe Agile.
  • Must hold SAFe Agile certification.
  • Solid experience working in Capital Market/ Investment Banking domain.
  • Proven experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe).
  • Expertise in writing user stories, backlog grooming, and sprint planning.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey product vision, requirements, and strategic roadmaps.
  • Ability to collaborate with internal teams and external customers, including financial institutions, regulators, and compliance officers.

Job Description:

  • This role ensures that the product meets regulatory requirements, industry standards, and client expectations by collaborating with internal stakeholders, clients, and cross-functional teams.
  • Product Strategy & Vision: Define and communicate the strategic vision and roadmap.
  • Market Research & Competitive Analysis: Conduct market analysis to identify customer challenges, emerging risks, and competitive positioning in the financial market space.
  • Backlog Management & Prioritization: Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring feature development aligns with client priorities and business objectives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary liaison between customers, development teams, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, validate use cases, and ensure seamless product delivery.
  • Feature Definition & Development: Work with development teams to define clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications for new product enhancements and integrations.
  • Performance Monitoring: Define and track product KPIs to measure effectiveness, adoption, and compliance accuracy. Use data-driven insights to drive product improvements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with sales, marketing, and professional services teams to ensure successful go-to-market strategies and customer onboarding.
