We are seeking an experienced RN to join our newly renovated Adult & Pediatric Inpatient Unit, where you'll make a real difference in the lives of our patients.

Our specialized, small unit focuses on managing acute cases such as pneumonia, asthma, COPD, and bronchiectasis exacerbations. With a low patient-to-nurse ratio (averaging 1:2), this role offers a calm, steady-paced environment where quality care is the top priority.

Why You'll Love This Position:

Care for All Ages: You'll have the opportunity to provide exceptional care to both adult and pediatric patients, addressing their unique needs with expertise and compassion.
Independence & Teamwork: Work both independently and as part of a close-knit, collaborative team to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.
Advanced Skills: Use your nursing expertise to administer oral and IV medications, conduct nocturnal oximetry studies, provide telephone triage, manage medication refills, monitor post-procedure patients, and coordinate care across various departments.
Personalized Patient Care: Deliver individualized care that truly makes an impact, helping patients through their recovery process with care and attention.
Position Summary:

As a Registered Nurse on our Adult & Pediatric Inpatient Unit, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality, compassionate care. Your responsibilities will include assessing patient needs, creating personalized care plans, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and providing education and support to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough patient assessments, identifying problems and needs while providing timely, skillful interventions.
Collaborate with providers and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and streamline workflows.
Develop and implement individualized care plans, considering the cultural, spiritual, and psychosocial aspects of each patient.
Administer medications, monitor patient progress, and document all care activities in our electronic medical records (EMR).
Educate patients and families, ensuring they understand care instructions and their role in the healing process.
Participate in clinical projects, committees, and evidence-based practice initiatives to continually improve patient care and nursing practice.
Other Duties:

Take on additional responsibilities such as serving as a preceptor or Clinical House Supervisor as needed.
Support and guide other nursing and support staff when necessary.
Actively engage in continuous learning and professional development to enhance your skills and contribute to the team.
Core Competencies:

Accountability: Take responsibility for your actions and contribute to a team-oriented environment.
Ethics: Practice ethically, maintaining dignity and respect for patients, safeguarding privacy and confidentiality.
Communication: Clearly convey information to individuals and groups, helping them understand and retain key messages.
Collaboration: Work together with colleagues to achieve shared goals, valuing the contributions of everyone.
Leadership: Promote innovation and manage change effectively, contributing to the advancement of the nursing profession.
Professional Development: Take initiative in identifying learning opportunities and applying new knowledge to improve patient care.
Evidence-based Practice: Use the latest research and best practices to inform decision-making and enhance patient outcomes.
Quality of Practice: Strive for safe, effective, and patient-centered care, always looking for ways to improve quality and efficiency.
Requirements:

Education: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).
Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
Certifications: BLS and ACLS certification required upon hire. Specialty certification is a plus.
Experience: No prior experience required, but a passion for patient care is essential.
Compensation:

Hourly Rate: $34.00 - $48.62 + Night Shift Differential
Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, 403(b) retirement plan with employer contributions, wellness incentives, tuition reimbursement, child care assistance, loan forgiveness, and more.
