Our specialized, small unit focuses on managing acute cases such as pneumonia, asthma, COPD, and bronchiectasis exacerbations. With a low patient-to-nurse ratio (averaging 1:2), this role offers a calm, steady-paced environment where quality care is the top priority.

Position Summary:
As a Registered Nurse on our Adult & Pediatric Inpatient Unit, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality, compassionate care. Your responsibilities will include assessing patient needs, creating personalized care plans, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and providing education and support to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough patient assessments, identifying problems and needs while providing timely, skillful interventions.
Collaborate with providers and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and streamline workflows.
Develop and implement individualized care plans, considering the cultural, spiritual, and psychosocial aspects of each patient.
Administer medications, monitor patient progress, and document all care activities in our electronic medical records (EMR).
Educate patients and families, ensuring they understand care instructions and their role in the healing process.
Participate in clinical projects, committees, and evidence-based practice initiatives to continually improve patient care and nursing practice.
Other Duties:
Take on additional responsibilities such as serving as a preceptor or Clinical House Supervisor as needed.
Support and guide other nursing and support staff when necessary.
Actively engage in continuous learning and professional development to enhance your skills and contribute to the team.

Requirements:
Education: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).
Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
Certifications: BLS and ACLS certification required upon hire. Specialty certification is a plus.
Experience: No prior experience required, but a passion for patient care is essential.
Compensation:
Hourly Rate: $34.00 - $48.62 + Night Shift Differential
