Position Overview:
As a Remote International Tour Guide (Cultural Destinations) with Voyage Canvas, you will play a pivotal role in bringing our bespoke travel experiences to life. You will accompany small groups of travelers on meticulously planned international itineraries, ensuring a seamless, enriching, and personal experience. Your passion for travel, knowledge of local cultures, and dedication to guest satisfaction will create unforgettable memories for our guests.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead small groups on international travel experiences, providing insightful, engaging, and thoughtful commentary on each destination’s culture, art, history, and cuisine.
• Ensure all aspects of the trip run smoothly, from logistics and accommodations to dining and activities, maintaining the highest standards of quality and guest satisfaction.
• Foster a safe, enjoyable, and immersive environment, encouraging guests to fully engage with the local culture and each other.
• Handle any unforeseen situations with professionalism and poise, ensuring guest safety and satisfaction are always prioritized.
• Collaborate with local partners and artists to facilitate unique experiences and interactions for guests, adding a personal touch to every aspect of the journey.
• Provide personalized attention to guests, addressing their needs and preferences to enhance their travel experience.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a tour guide, particularly in international settings, with a strong track record of guest satisfaction.
• Exceptional knowledge of various cultures, art, history, and culinary practices, with the ability to convey this knowledge in an engaging and accessible manner.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in English and proficiency in one or more additional languages highly desirable.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt to dynamic environments and solve problems efficiently.
