You will assist your dedicated team in executing the brand or functional strategy as well as participate in initiatives or projects to support the development or understanding of sales, culture, analytics, & service.

YOUR MISSION

Supply Chain Services (SCS) aims to optimize the functions of import, export, and domestic transportation regarding areas of performance, cost, reliability, trade compliance, and scope of services offered to the Maisons.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement efforts by using logistics, transportation, and import/export principles. 
  • Learn the importance and develop skills relating to record keeping as it pertains to different areas within the supply chain.
  • Completion of Duty Drawback claim filings, which includes:
    • Compiling and indexing of required documents;
    • Data mine large data sets for quality including US Customs, customs broker, and SAP;
    • Support documenting SOPs as needed.
  • Conduct time studies, value stream mapping, and data analysis to recommend opportunities for efficiency gains related to import/export and transportation processes and routines.
  • Document standard operating procedures (SOP’s) for various routines with carrier and Government agencies relating to supply chain (US Customs, US Fish & Wildlife, and FDA)
  • Utilize data mining to obtain various metrics throughout the SCS functions with recommendations for improvements pertaining to visibility and utilization of data not currently being leveraged today. 
  • Conduct studies of rules changes from US Customs and other Partner Government Agencies for the purposes of implementing data management changes for upstream stakeholders.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Pursuing a B.S. degree in either supply chain management, logistics and transportation management, or import/export.     
  • Tech Savvy with proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • An innovative thinker with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • At your core, a team player who is excited to shine, as well as, empower and assist others to achieve success
  • Energetic and eager to assist on projects and initiatives
  • Able to work a full-time schedule throughout the course of our Summer Internship Program
  • Authorized to work in the United States; International students must have a current work visa, Richemont North America will not sponsor work visa’s for summer internships
  • Must be age 18 or older to participate
