Job Description

Adams Manufacturing/Keter North America is seeking a motivated Safety Intern in Portersville, PA for Summer 2025 to support our safety initiatives and promote a culture of safety within our organization. This internship offers hands-on experience in various safety-related tasks, including inspections, audits, and training sessions. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in safety practices and a desire to learn about occupational health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in conducting safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Support the development and implementation of safety training programs for employees.
• Help maintain safety documentation and records, ensuring they are up to date and accessible.
• Participate in incident investigations and assist in reporting findings.
• Collaborate with the safety team on special projects and initiatives aimed at improving workplace safety.

This position will be on-site in the manufacturing plant. Hours are Monday - Friday 7am-3:30pm at $20/hr.

REQUIREMENTS

• Currently pursuing a degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• No prior experience is required, but previous internships or coursework related to safety will be an advantage.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Must be available for the entire summer internship duration.
