School Nurse – Registered Nurse (RN) BSN | Duvall, WA | 2025–2026 School Year 

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a dedicated and compassionate  Registered Nurse (RN, BSN)to serve as a  School Nurse for the 2025–2026 school year in  Duvall, Washington . As the school RN you will support student health across multiple school sites in the district. If you’re passionate about student wellness and want to work with a values-driven, therapist-run organization, we’d love to hear from you!

Job Highlights:

• Location: Duvall, WA

• Provide oversight of health services at six schools.

• Delegate and train Unlicensed Assistive Personnel (UAPs) in school health rooms (e.g., medication administration, first aid).

• Participate in student planning and documentation , including:

  • IEPs (Individualized Education Programs)

  • 504 Plans (student accommodations)

  • IHPs (Individualized Health Plans)

  • ECPs (Emergency Care Plans)

• Be on-call during contracted hours to support site nurses or health aides with urgent questions or needs.

• Act as a consultant to the Director of Special Education/Health Services , advising on best practices for student health and compliance.

• In-person only

Qualifications:

• Valid  Washington State RN license (DOH) or compact RN license
• Bachelor's of Science in Nursing 
• School Nursing ESA or ability to obtain ASAP
• School nursing or pediatric experience
• Fingerprinting and background check required prior to start
• Previous experience in school nursing, pediatrics, or public health preferred
