Job Description

A well-established accounting and tax firm is looking for a Senior Bookkeeper to join our team. This is a full-time, on-site role with the possibility of overtime. We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with strong bookkeeping and accounting knowledge, as well as excellent communication skills to interact directly with clients.

### Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain direct communication with clients to ensure their bookkeeping needs are met.
- Review and reconcile client accounts, correcting original postings as necessary.
- Perform in-house bookkeeping using QuickBooks Desktop (QuickBooks Online experience is a plus).
- Prepare and deliver monthly or quarterly financial reports (Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss Statements).
- Collaborate with a team of bookkeepers to provide high-quality service.
- Prepare sales tax, payroll tax, and personal property tax returns.
- Manage accounts payable full-cycle.
- Identify and resolve bookkeeping issues efficiently.
- Ensure accurate and timely tax filings.

### What We're Looking For:
- 3-5 years of experience in bookkeeping and QuickBooks (Preferred).
- Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to work efficiently in both team-oriented and autonomous environments.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- High level of stress tolerance and ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.

### Compensation & Benefits:
- Pay: $20-$25 per hour (based on experience)
- Schedule: 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday (overtime as needed)
