Talent Acquisition Specialist

Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000 DOE + Bonus + Benefits

Location: Golden, CO

Position Type: Direct Hire

How you’ll spend your time as a Talent Acquisition Specialist:

  • Manage full-cycle hiring and talent pipeline development.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand current and future staffing needs.
  • Coordinate job postings on various platforms, ensuring accurate and engaging job descriptions that comply with the law.
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial candidate assessments.
  • Schedule and facilitate interviews, providing seamless experiences for both candidates and hiring teams.
  • Maintain applicant tracking system (ATS) accuracy and ensure timely updates on candidate progress.
  • Assist in developing and refining hiring processes.
  • Support employer branding efforts, including social media campaigns, job fairs, and community engagement.
  • Work with marketing operations to develop outreach strategies to attract diverse and high-quality candidates.
  • Represent the company at networking events, industry conferences, and recruitment fairs.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Ensure timely communication and updates to provide a positive candidate experience.
  • Gather feedback from candidates and hiring managers to improve the recruitment process.
  • Build and maintain relationships with universities, colleges, and technical schools.
  • Coordinate participation in career fairs, information sessions, and campus events.
  • Develop internships and early-career hiring programs in partnership with academic institutions.
  • Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to facilitate a smooth onboarding process.
  • Conduct orientation sessions and ensure new employees feel welcome and well-integrated.
  • Support new hires in completing necessary paperwork and accessing company resources.

Skills & experience we’d like you to have as a Talent Acquisition Specialist:

  • 4+ years of experience in recruiting or talent acquisition.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Recruiting experience in the Architectural, Engineering, or Construction industry is a plus.
  • Experience with university relations and career fairs is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with hiring managers and external partners.
  • Inquisitive with lots of questions and willing to speak up when you don’t understand.
  • Proactive, not reactive style.
  • Bring a sense of humor and a desire to help
  • Passion for collaboration and working with a team.
