Maverik's Summer Intern Program is designed to provide a structured learning experience, equipping interns with the skills and knowledge needed for a successful career. The internship will run from June 2025-August 2025, with a commitment of up to 30 hours per week. This opportunity is exclusively available to full-time students currently enrolled at an accredited four-year college or university.

As an intern, you will play a key role in supporting our accounting team through system integration, financial analysis, and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of key processes.

Summary of Internship Project:

Contributing to system integration testing, inventory transfers for rebranded stores, and the preparation of quarterly financial statements to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Throughout this internship, you will achieve the following:

• Develop a deeper understanding of the importance of accuracy and efficiency in accounting processes.
• Gain hands-on experience with system integration testing to ensure accuracy and completeness of imported data.
• Learn how to organize and analyze financial data for quarterly financial statements.

In this internship, you will work towards:

Supporting the team by:

• Completing inventory transfers for rebranded stores, including final orders in the K&G instance of PDI.
• Assisting with the preparation of quarterly financial statements by reviewing and analyzing financial data.
• Ensuring compliance with debt covenants by reviewing and summarizing key contractual requirements.

The successful candidate should possess:

• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications:

• A full-time college student that has completed their sophomore year by the beginning of the internship.
• Currently enrolled at an accredited university seeking a degree related to the position.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Willingness to learn and contribute to accounting processes.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
