This Summer/Fall Trainee position is from May/June through December 12th and all candidates must be able to work 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday in person in the specified office location. This position is ideal for entry-level talent or recent graduates interested in jump-starting their career in a particular field.

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:

Sony Pictures Television (SPT) Latin America operates three complementary lines of business: 1) Distribution of SPE's feature films and television programming to television outlets around the world, 2) Local television production in key international markets, 3) International television networks and digital networks.

OVERVIEW:

The AI Business Analysis Trainee, Distribution & Networks, should be a highly-motivated, analytical-minded graduate - with a Bachelor's, Master's or MBA. The Trainee will report directly to the EVP for the region, who is the Managing Director of a multi-functional media company, overseeing 3 lines of business within Sony Pictures Television. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain real-world experience in management support, data-driven insights, and financial analysis, by focusing on leveraging AI to drive business outcomes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyze business data to identify trends, routes to market, and risks, providing actionable insights to support executive decisions.
• Assist in mapping and implementing AI solutions, building predictive modes to evaluate company performance and growth and optimization strategies.
• Conduct research and compile reports on market conditions, competitors, and industry benchmarks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes using AI-driven solutions.
• Support the EVP in special projects, presentations, and strategic planning efforts, including integrating AI tools and process mapping methodologies.
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Recent completion of an MBA, Master's or Bachelor's program focusing on AI implementation, finance, or strategy
• Work experience or relevant coursework in AI implementation, utilizing machine learning, predictive analytics tools, and the ability to apply these skills to real-world business challenges
• Ability to build or source off the shelf AI solutions that can optimize productivity and build growth models
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail
• Ability to communicate complex findings clearly and concisely
• Proactive, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  
  

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Hands-on experience with AI frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) or business intelligence platforms.
• Basic understanding of corporate finance and key performance metrics.
