Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
Payroll Specialists perform a full range of payroll functions, working independently and efficiently to process paychecks in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local requirements, as well as related RCHHC policies. Significant interaction with Human Resources staff, as well as Department Managers and other RCHHC staff, and employees.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
HS Diploma, GED or Equivalent
3 Years of Experience
Knowledge of State and Federal Wage and Hour Laws
Familiarity with Computerized Payroll Systems and Complex Pay Policies
Knowledge of Federal Form W-2 Reporting Requirements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
5 Years of Experience
Associate's Degree
Certified Payroll Professional
Healthcare Payroll Experience
Experience with Automated Time and Attendance System
Experience with Payroll Processing for Union Employees
Experience with Payroll Processing for multiple shifts and job types
**The current salary range for this position is $24.26 to $33.36**
