The Opportunity

As the VP, Sales VoiceAI, you will lead and scale growth of our newest product line sales team, Voice AI, driving revenue growth and market share in strategic verticals and regions. You will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy, fostering strong client relationships, and building a high-performing sales organization. This role requires a visionary leader with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced environment. This role will lead a distributed team of Enterprise Account Executives and will report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed revenue targets, focusing on enterprise-level clients.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner.
  • Sales Process Optimization: Refine and optimize the sales process, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness throughout the sales cycle.
  • Market Analysis & Competitive Intelligence: Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape, providing insights to inform sales strategies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and drive customer satisfaction.
  • Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Develop accurate sales forecasts and provide regular reports on sales performance to senior leadership.
  • Deal Negotiation & Closing: Lead and support the team in negotiating and closing complex enterprise deals.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in enterprise SaaS sales, with a focus on new product launches or experience working at startups in their early journey.
  • Strong understanding of the CCaaS/AI ecosystem, including key players, emerging trends, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Experience selling Contact Center/CX or related technologies is a must
  • Experience selling Conversational AI products is strongly preferred, including but not limited to NLP, LLM related products
  • Proven ability to build relationships from scratch, especially for lesser-known or startup organizations and a track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Demonstrated experience in building, scaling and mentoring high-performing strategic sales teams, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise sales methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent relationship skills, able to demonstrate negotiation and organizational skills, with a proven track record of experience in managing various customer and partner stakeholder relationships.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with a talent for building trust with C-level stakeholders.
  • Data-driven and analytical mindset, with the ability to use data to inform sales strategies.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and rapidly growing environment.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS business models and technologies.
  • Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and sales enablement tools.
  • Startup experience preferred.

Salary Range

The OTE (On Target Earnings) range targeted for this full-time position is $400,000 - $450,000 per annum . Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives and equity (in the form of options). This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company’s compensation practices.
